The Sneddon has the reputation of being one of the best-sounding theatres in KwaZulu-Natal.  It is equipped with a sound rig that is suitable for all theatrical productions, musicals and live bands, comprising L'Acoustics A10i and KS21i  flown speakers and a Digico S31 mixing console.  The sound booth and mixing position is situated in the centre back of the auditorium.  There are tielines for 20 analogue inputs, 8 analogue outputs and a digital stagebox (D-Rack) with 32 inputs and 8 outputs. The hire of the theatre does not include a sound technician but Theatre Director (and voluntary resident sound designer) Jackie Cunniffe is available to assist with any sound-related queries and will also recommend a suitable sound engineer for your production ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
