Family Musical

After a rigorous audition process, 26 young performers from high schools throughout KZN have been chosen to perform in Seussical - a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza.  Hosted by the Performing Arts Network of South Africa (KZN), the production will be directed by Steven Stead with set design by Greg King, both of whom are from the award-winning Kickstart Productions.

Seussical is a delicious amalgamation of many of the much loved Dr Seuss books featuring an array of recognizable characters.  The musical serves to  remind us that the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are worth fighting for. Although the musical will be performed by high school learners, the idea is to ensure that they get a taste of working in a professional arena and to this end, Seussical will be of the highest quality, with professional technical backing.
