The Flatfoot Dance Company opens its 12th year as Durban’s premier professional contemporary dance company with a bold season of innovative dance theatre from 25 – 29 March. Award winning choreographer Lliane Loots collaborates with the 6 resident Flatfoot dancers to create a poignant journey into what Loots calls “the little stories that make up our lives”. Entitled “days like these”, this full length dance work is a journey into the heart of what it means to be fully human with all our hopes, dreams and longings. Using a verbatim theatre style and accessing life stories, it also involves collaboration with Durban filmmaker Karen Logan.
